Director and Principal Chiropractor

Dr. Dirk M. Dulmes

Dr. Dirk M. Dulmes is the Director and Principal Chiropractor at Lakeland Chiropractic. Dr. Dulmes earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic and his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.

Dr. Dulmes established Lakeland Chiropractic in 2007 and opened the Oostburg office in 2008. He is passionate of Chiropractic and strives to deliver the best care possible.
He is also passionate about educating families toward natural approaches to their health; therefore, he established the Advanced Wellness Workshop series as a form of continuing education in family wellness. His primary purpose is to maintain a principled, family wellness-based practice to serve the community where he grew up and most of his family still resides.

His professional interests include Chiropractic Philosophy, patient education, family wellness care and Chiropractic research.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Wade S. Bemis

Dr. Wade S. Bemis is an associate chiropractor at Lakeland Chiropractic and has been with us since 2015. He was fortunate to grow up right here in Sheboygan County and graduated from Random Lake High School. Dr. Bemis pursued a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Bemis attended Life University – College of Chiropractic, where he graduated with honors.

“My approach is pretty simple. I believe that every person is designed to live a vibrant life. If a person is experiencing interference in their nervous system, then they are not reaching their full potential. I practice principled chiropractic care and deliver specific adjustments to remove the interference and allow the body to heal itself.”

While attending Life University, Dr. Bemis quickly discovered that one of his passions was to provide chiropractic care for pregnant women and young children. These interests have motivated him to attend multiple postgraduate programs to expand his knowledge of caring for this important population. Dr. Bemis is Webster Technique certified.

In addition to pediatrics, Dr. Bemis takes great joy in helping athletes reach their peak performance through chiropractic care. Whether you are a competitive athlete or a weekend warrior, a nervous system free of interference will allow for improved function and performance.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Bemis can be found spending time with his wife Jennifer and their daughter Harper. He enjoys traveling with his family, lifting weights, rucking, fishing, reading, and spending time on the lake.

The Staff

Brenda

Brenda serves as our Office Manager, coordinating the front desk, insurance and billing processes, and assisting with marketing and overall operations. Her organization and steady leadership help keep our office running seamlessly.

Dana

Dana brings over 20 years of experience in front desk management, marketing, chiropractic X-ray, and clinical care to our office. She aims to ensure that healthcare is vibrant, growing, and accessible to the public by empowering and educating patients to embrace a chiropractic lifestyle.

Jennie

Since joining our team in 2021, Jennie has been an essential part of our insurance department and front desk team. She brings a calm, friendly presence to the office and helps ensure patients have a pleasant experience. Beyond her work here, Jennie owns and operates her own business.

Tristan

Tristan came on board in 2024 as a Chiropractic Assistant, and has since completed her Chiropractic Radiology Technician certification. Tristan performs our posture exams, as well as a variety of administrative and marketing tasks. You’ll often find her brightening the space with her upbeat energy, whether she’s singing, sharing a smile, or enjoying her favorite bubblr. Outside of the office, Tristan is passionate about health and wellness. She’s an avid runner who logs an impressive number of miles and loves staying active in the outdoors.

Kim

As a Chiropractic Radiology Technician and Assistant, Kim plays a key role in providing a caring and comfortable experience for our patients. She helps maintain the vibrant office environment by tending to our plants and supporting marketing initiatives. Outside of the office, she is the owner of YouBetcha Herbs & Heirlooms, where she crafts handmade soaps and herbal body care products. Kim enjoys music, disc golfing, kayaking, and adventuring with her family and pets.
